EOF Foundation Scholarship Helps Student Continue Her Education

For 16-year-old Amina Olatunji, education has always been a source of hope for a brighter future. But earlier this year, financial difficulties nearly forced her to leave school.

Amina’s father, a small-scale farmer in Ondo State, explained that rising household expenses had made it difficult to keep up with school fees and learning materials.

“We wanted her to continue her education because she works very hard in school,” he said. “But it became difficult for us to manage everything.”

Through its Education Programme, EOF Foundation awarded Amina a scholarship that covered key educational costs, allowing her to remain in school and continue her studies without interruption.

The scholarship support included assistance with school fees and learning materials, helping relieve financial pressure on the family.

According to Mrs. Oladipo, one of Amina’s teachers, the support has already made a positive difference.

“Amina has always been a focused and determined student,” she said. “This scholarship allows her to concentrate fully on her studies and pursue her ambitions.”

Amina hopes to continue her education through university and dreams of working in healthcare so she can help others in her community.

“This opportunity means a lot to me,” she said. “It has encouraged me to work even harder so that I can make the most of it.”

EOF Foundation says scholarships remain a key part of its mission to expand educational opportunities and support young people with the potential to succeed.
